New Game Site

Greetings,

We have a new game site for the next couple of games. It will be the recreation facilities at the Mercer Isle Condos. This is across the street from the Mercer Island Community Center. The plan is to test this out for a couple of games and make sure that it works for us before settling on it.

It is also across the street from the transit center and the park in ride.

Features include:

Two seperate rooms, each the size of what we had at the commity center
a couple of tiny side rooms
a kitchen
two bathrooms
outside lawn/garden with benches
capacity up to around 75 people
basement hallway
a shower room [although not sure what we would do with it.]

It will cost $20 a night, plus the basic $120 deposit.

It is isolated on the basement floor of the apartment building so noise won't be a problem. The lawn/garden is below a couple of units so we won't want any late night yelling there, but as long as we are respectful after 10pm, we should be golden.

All in all, it is actually a better location. The drawback is that the park-n-ride isn't ready yet so you will have to park at the end of the Mercer Island Community center and walk over. This is allowed as per the agreement with the city. Debbie's aunt has had a car parked there for months.

Very shortly the Park-N-Ride will be repaired and we will be able to park directly across. Until then, we'll have the minute walk.

Does this mean Debbie will get to game with us? I haven't met her character yet!

Well the first thought that game to my mind was that it would be useful to get off the virgin olive oil. . . The problem is I cannot take showers anymore because of my constant dizzyness. Baths only. Unless I have company in the shower that is.
