So for those of you who don't know, I have an event production company Stonehenge Productions. Every year we throw a serious bash, an all out rager. This year we were planning on helping out NorWesCon until the hotel went Wiggy, so we moved across the street to the LaQuinta's ballroooms. In getting preped for our events, there are obviously a great deal of papers and forms for insurance, and in our electronic wanderings we came across the following:


Winning a wet T-shirt contest is easy if you take the time to prepare. Some wet T-shirt contests offer prizes, like free bar tabs and even free vacations to tropical locations such as Cancun, Mexico. Getting the crowd's vote will usually require more than just a good body, however, so brush up on your dance moves and prepare to express a sexy, positive attitude.





Step 1:
Exercise often to get your body in the best shape possible as the date of the wet T-shirt contest approaches. Feeling good about the way you look will increase your confidence and make you more excited to show off your body in all its glory. Remember that your chest is not the only part of your body that should be in good shape. Work on your arms, stomach and back, too.

Step 2:
Practice your dance moves at home. Stand in front of the mirror in your bathroom or bedroom so you can see what you will look like to the audience while you are dancing. Look straight into the mirror and smile, maintaining eye contact with your image to practice holding a confident look on your face.

Step 3:
Play your favorite dance music in your room when you practice, focusing on songs that make your body want to move and cause you to feel sexy and confident. Pick songs that have strong, continuous rhythms and upbeat, fun lyrics so that it will be easy to keep the momentum and have a good time. Dance to a full song before resting to prepare for the competition.

Step 4:
Try on the T-shirt you plan to wear. Make sure the shirt is a light color that will be transparent when wet and that it fits you well in a way that is flattering to your body. Splash some water on the shirt to get an idea of how it will look on you when it is wet.

Step 5:
Pick your favorite skirt, shorts or pants to wear as part of your outfit for the contest. Keep in mind that your T-shirt is not the only part of your outfit, and wearing clothes that fit you well and accentuate your other assets will help increase your popularity with the crowd.

Step 6:
Invite your friends to attend the wet T-shirt contest. Having familiar faces in the crowd will help ease your nervousness and remind you to have a good time. Also, your friends will be able to applaud loudly and encourage those around them to vote for you, too.
