New Location

So we are obviously looking for a new location!

We have a couple in mind on Mercer Island or nearby that Debbie is looking into, but I would love to hear some suggestions people have.

I was going to go island hoping and see if any coffee shops, bookstores, or community centers are open late enough with a semi private area that we can play in.

Does anyone know of any other places we might be able to play?

The one in Kirkand is a good site but very pricy at $80 a night if we have a resident or $100 if we don't.

The PUD was a great building if I'm remembering it right from the Camarilla days and not nearly so expensive. A bit north for many, but on my bus line so I'm happy with it.

I think it will be difficult to find a site a geographically desireable place. The PUD cost $15 if you were an NPO and $35 if you weren't. Those prices might have changed. I wont be able to talk to them until Monday.

I'll chip in every game to secure that site.

Oddly enough I at one time incorporated as a non profit , that was in 2000 and I ended up in a custody battle right after and then the murder and recovery. I would have to se what would be neede to reactivate it. I no longer have any of the paperwork and it was in Vegas. "Gothic Catholic Church" evil grin

Was the contract done entirely without any paperwork? I would be interested in what the written rules and regulations are for the community center. I believe they are legally required to provide them.

I do not anticipate playing there again but part of me is very unsatisfied about rolling over and takining it. It is just not in my nature. If there were complaints I think that they need to provide some documentation as we were cancelled without warning. Is there a para legal in the house? 30 or 40 seperate small claims cases seem about fair.

Well it would need to be activated in Washington. The other option would be to incorporate DRC as a charity organization which is what I believe they did with the Camarilla.
